Licenses are available for stand alone computers or can be shared between computers with the Aligner License Server. There is no price difference, but for concurrent licenses the number of users at the same time is determined by the amount of licenses purchased, and a network connection between your local computers is necessary. The Aligner License Server is hosted on your own computers and your own network, so there is no data security issue from using a web based server you know nothing about.
